Hibi 10-Minute Incense Match

Hyogo prefecture’s traditional crafts include centuries of incense blending, and more recently, 70% of Japan’s match production: the innovation of hibi self-lighting incense sticks is to combine the two. Painstakingly trialled and refined over 3 years, hibi (meaning ‘days’) is an incense match that you can burn without a separate lighting device, emits natural fragrance while it slowly burns safely resting on its own reusable custom pad.

Each order includes a set of 2 small boxes:

• Box 1 contains 8 incense matches 
  
• Box 2 contains burning mat
  

Light a match by striking it on the striker on the side of the box. Blow the flame out when you see embers forming on below the match head. Each stick burns for approximately 10 mins.
